Thanks. Thinking back it may have been about the time DH started a new career. Goes along with what you said about change. Very interesting. Thanks for doing this for us all!

This tread is so interesting to me. There is one more dream that I have recurring....

Some details change, but mostly its about my husband cheating on me and me finding out and being completely devistated and him not caring in the least. He always choses the other women over me and provides me no comfort or compassion when I'm upset. And the feeling usually sticks with me the next day and I feel so sad and anxious when I think about how completly lost I felt in the dream and how he never cared. (we've been together 11 years and I had this dreams too many times to count).
Thanks for any insight

Or, perhaps, your parents had great financial trouble when you WERE a child, and their fears brushed off on you. However we try to hide things from our kids, kids always sense something is amiss. It always spills out, even if its just a little. Perhaps such troubles have made you even more concerned as an adult not to fall into the same trap.

This part of your answer makes total sense. My parents did not have alot of money when I was growing up and it was always very apparent.
I think subconsciously I do worry about falling into the same trap.
Luckily my husband & I have good jobs, the bills are paid & money in the bank:)
You are really good at this!! Thanks for the insite.

I keep having a that my mouth gets stuck open, like my jaw just locks fully open and everyone finds it funny and they are all laughing and i'm crying coz i keep trying to tell them that it hurts and they just keep laughing..... very strange eh!!!

wow this is a great thread!

I had a dream the other night that I was being picked on by people, I was trying to get into my car and couldn't they were holding the doors shut and the trunk whick I was trying to get something out of. I called my mom over to get a spare set of keys but she never came. Then I flash to like a nightclub or something and my brother is there. I show him who was picking on me and he twists the guys arm and tells him to leave me alone or else and then lifts cocain off of him (thougth that was really strange) my brother made a point to tell me when they found out that they were going to be really mad. He tosses it in a trash can. then later I'm worried that they are going to jump my brother so we sneak out the back and I woke up.

and another one that really bothers me....
I have had dreams about me cheating on my husband (something I would never do) and then he leaves me. I wake up so devastaed!

thanks!

Wow - great thread!

I have one if you don't mind. I've had a couple of dreams where I've gotten back together with my ex-husband and I'm miserable again. Now in reality there is no chance of us getting back together nor do I want to. It's very disturbing - I wake up and I'm so angry at myself for being with him!

Scorpio:

1) You may have issues with getting older. Or you may feel like while you have guidance over your life, you simply cannot control your momentum, and things often happen too fast for you. You may take longer to assimilate to things than others do, and while things keep progressing swiftly around you, you wanna scream 'hey, hang on a mo, lemme catch my breath!'

2) Again, a classic dream having to do with appearance and fulfilling responsibilities. However, as you really 'don't care' in the dream, you probably don't find others acceptances of you as such a big deal. You're fairly comfortable in who you are and how you present yourself, and other people's opinions of you...especially those of people you don't even KNOW...mean little to you.

Owen's Mum:

You probably just hit the nail on the head. You're probably still trying to figure out just what went wrong and where the troubles started.

1) Scorpions tend to be negative, and reflect negative or bitter situations, painful or hurtful words. You worry here about your pets being stung more than you...is someone talking bad about your animals, perhaps, or showing you disdain for your love for them? Perhaps you worry that you are not caring for the properly, or unwittingly are putting them in a bad situation. You may have had an unpleasant experience on a walk, or at the park, or even with an accident in the home. I once accidentally pinched a baby bearded dragon in the lid of the cage, because he leapt up to it just as I was shutting it. A pure accident, of course, but I felt horrible about it and like a horrible mother.

2) Perhaps something is telling you to get back on track? To put this situation with your ex behind you and move on. The camera is very important in this interpretation. We use cameras to take pictures of things we want to hold on to, or to remember, or share with others. You're trying to cling to something that just isn't there any more. You may be 'stuck in the past' a bit, or having unresolved regrets. Given what you said earlier, I'm pretty sure this is the case :)

3) Your idea is probably right. No one is a more qualified interpretor of your dream than you. That's usually why I suggest a few meanings as to what one thing might mean, based on the symbology and emotional context of the dream...each person is individual, and each dream is therefore individual to that person. That you get back together with your ex in this dream again suggests there is part of you that hasn't accepted things and moved on. Like death, the end of a relationship requires a grieving and healing process, whether it was a good relationship or a horrid one. Its an adjustment to your life that has to be taken into consideration, emotionally and spiritually. The others in your dream tend to disapprove with your getting back together, and you yourself feel that he is aloof and distant...again further affirmation that you know this is over, and ultimately, its for the best. He cannot provide you what you need and deserve, and you know that.

Gregory'sdad:

Of course it could! As I said just above, every individual is unique, and ultimately, I can only provide a relatively generic explination for symbols that may mean utterly different things to you and your situation. It may be that you're feeling very unbalanced and out of touch right now, and that's making you unsure. You're dealing with a lot of stress right now, and stress makes us somewhat paranoid where worries are concerned. Basically a 'what ELSE can happen to me?' mentality.

All the best of luck, hon!

Layla's Mum:

Abandonment. That's likely what all this is about. A fear of abandonment, of failing in the marriage somehow, of failing to make him happy, and therefore, forcing him to search out happiness elsewhere. Perhaps you sometimes worry that you are more committed to the relationship than he is. Or you may feel he is not giving you the attention he once did. Perhaps you fear that you are drifting apart...not that this is the case, but every couple...especially ones that have been together a while...may feel this stagnancy in their relationship at least once. I would suggest sitting down with him and just talking, making time every week to do something just the two of you...focus on the little things. Reconnecting with him when you start having these dreams may help you assuage your fears and regain your confidence.

***

jo.mcqueen:

In this dream, others are making fun of your misfortune. You feel you lack support and understanding, or that others aren't taking you 'seriously', brushing off your ideas or concerns as if they don't matter.

***

B-Man's Mom:

Being in a car suggests protection and control. Some situation has got/is getting out of hand and you're striving to regain control before it all goes to heck. You are having trouble doing this on your own and are looking to others for help and support, but fear this help and support won't be forthcoming (perhaps it wasn't in the past).

You find support and protection with your brother, suggesting maybe a little bit of aggression and confidence on your part is needed to solve this problem. There are a lot of fears and distractions, however, symbolized by the noisy nightclub. Nightclubs are dark, usually smokey, and have head pounding music that makes it difficult to think, let alone concentrate on a problem. Cocaine in this case I believe suggests a lack of ambition, a fear of responsibility. Or, perhaps you are telling yourself you need to be more energetic, even though right now, all your attempts are ending up 'in the trash'.

Now, cheating on a spouse is a different dream than having that spouse cheat on you, as happened above. If you're cheating, it suggests you are feeling guilt, or feel you have betrayed yourself somehow...either by compromising your beliefs or your morals in some way. You may have been wasting your energy toward some goal (or feel like you are, and that the goal is ultimately futile). Positively, you may be exploring new avenues of your life and your personal being, which can be exciting! It's up to you to decide which most fits.

***

Marybeth18:

You may be repeating mistakes you've made before, or are afraid that you will repeat a mistake. Not necessarily having to do with your ex, but that is the most pointed symbology your brain could pull out. You may see a situation currently developing that you just 'know' is gonna result in disaster...because you've seen it before. It may even be someone else's situation you warned them against, and your warning is going unheeded. This, naturally, makes you angry.

Okay, I had a strange one last night-I had to go into the office with someone that I knew (in the dream, I have no idea who it was-can't remember seeing their face), and it was a typical office with composite-like tile on the floor, but when I walked into the door about a million feas jumped on me, but only on me, not anyone else. And they're biting me so badly that they're drawing blood and causing awful rashes to come up all over me. Then, I'm trying to find my way back outside, even though it seemed like I had just walked into the front door, and I open a door, and there's Boomer, my kitten, and couple of other animals that I don't recognise, and all I can think of is getting them outside before they become infested w/fleas. And when I woke up, I was still kind of burning from the biting sensation. Strange, huh?

There was actually another one that I dreamed last night, too, but I can't remember it now. Maybe it'll come back to me.

Okee guys, I have some bad news. I've been slammed the last few days with doing interpretations on this board and another board I listed on, and for co-workers (who caught wind of what I was doing and wanted on the bandwagon).

So, on the advice of a few friends, I'mma have to start charging :( I put a listing up on Ebay and I charge only four dollars for two interpretations. For those of you here, I will continue to do your first interpretation for free, but everyone after that I'mma have to refer you to the page. This is not an effort to get money on my part, but rather to slow things down a bit to manageable levels ;) I really really didn't want to do it and I debated it all weekend. My deepest apologies.

So saying:

WYearta:

You're in a work environment and fleas (or large numbers of any type of animal, insect, or annoying object) suggests numerous tiny problems that are literally 'sucking you dry'. Perhaps work has become less than pleasant with a trillion little petty things that keep hounding you. You're worried for your sanity or your job, and of course, that leads to worry for those under your care...after all, you have a responsibility for them and if you lose your job (or quit it without having another), they will suffer for it.
