Doggie Transporation????any ideas?

Hello,

I'm traveling to florida and visiting for 11 days. I do not want to board my boxer for that long, and the FAA has regulated travel for pets in the summer, with additional restrictions for "short nosed breeds", including Boxers.

Does anyone have any ideas on getting my dog to florida? Has anyone had experience with uship.com?

I don't think that you are going to get your boxer to Florida by way of passenger airline travel. The flight restriction for boxers all but prohibits them from flying into places that are above 71 degrees.
I do not have any experience with uship.com.
By chance is your boxer under 15 pounds? You can take a baby boxer on the plane with you. I did.
Have you considered driving?
Can your dog stay with friends or relatives?

logan hovers within a few pounds of 60. he wouldnt fall under the "fit under my seat" rule.

What about the train? My Mom and her friend took the train and their car several years ago. I think it took a day and a half. They left from the New Carrollton station in Maryland.
