doggie brushes

what type of doggie brushes do you use to collect any dead or loose hair??? I need a good brush, Rocky is shedding some and I want to buy a good brush the 1st time, not the 3rd or 4th time... so let me know, please.....

I use a rubber glove sort of thing, sorry I don't know the brand offhand, and it has fine nubs on one side and a little bit more corse nubs on the other, I have had it since my greyhound and it works great! I use it when I give him a bath, though, I have never tried it dry. I have found that when bathing them it really does get all the loose hair out of their coat, and since it is a softer rubber I don't have to worry about scratching his skin. Its almost like a softer version of a curry comb for a horse, double sided. Hope this helps!

We use a smaller version of a curry comb that is made out of soft rubber. It really collects hair and the dogs love it.

We have used a few. Astro likes to chew them up The rubber brushes with the nubs or short points are what we have used....sorry I don't no the name or brand.

We use a Kong Zoom Groom on Beau,it's rubber & work really well DH brushes him every few day

I highly recommend the Zoom Groom. I use it on Pearl and I get PILES of hair off. Completely rubber so it can't possibly scratch like a metal shedding blade and it will last you forever.
