Dog Mauling case in CA (long rant)

Exodus 21:28-29 says:

If a bull gores a man or woman to death the bull must be stoned to death, ...But the owner of the bull will not be responsible. If, however, the bull has had the habit of goring and the owner has been warned but has not kept it penned up and it kills a man or woman, the bull must be stoned and the owner must also be put to death.

I think that that sums it up.

If they knowingly kept the dogs even though they had been trained to kill -- and the dogs DID kill - the owners SHOULD DEFINITLY be held responsible.

I was horrified when I watched the judge change the verdict. The people knew their dogs were dangerous. To not even have the dog on a leash is totally irresponsible. They never have shown any remorse about what happened. I think both of them should have been held more accountable. I'm disgusted with the whole thing.

In Texas, they might have gotten the death penalty. Their conviction would definitely have not been overturned.

Is this the case where the two lawyers owned the presa's and they had obtained them after their clients had gone off to prison/jail? Or is this a different case?

Different case....these dogs have been put down, one at the scene and the other a few days later.

This is the same case you are speaking of. The two attorneys owned and "cared for" the two Presas for the inmates who are known white supremists. I just wanted to clarify that it's the same one you speak of.

Hmmm... I must have my facts confused :confused: I could have sworn that both of these Presa's had been put down....one immediately and the other a few days later....

But maybe i have two stories jumbled together in my head...

I was totally misreading the post I thought Amy Lyn's question was, if the present attorney for the couple charged in the dog mauling case had the 2 dogs that in fact mauled the woman....like the attorney was babysitting them for the couple or something...I don't know it was a totally irrational thought on my behalf....

Okay yeah i'm going to be quite now, because I apparently need to go finish my coffee.............
