Dog jacket

Just wondering if anyone has doggie jackets for their boxers? Tyson doesn't handle the cold to well so today we got him a jacket. It is meant to be summer over here in good Australia but it still gets cold.
I put it on him for the first time and it is a bit big - which is great cause he still has a lot of growing to do.... but he loved it. Well I loved it, he really didn't care.
It is blue and water proof and has lambs wool on the inside. Keeps him nice and warm. So I left him at home with his nice warm jacket on, laying on his bed chewing a smacko. Very impressed he was.

Dasia has a Ruff gear coat. It velcros around the chest and under the tummy and comes with an optional chest protector. It's wind and waterproof and has a fleece liner.

I bought Shy a leather jacket.. She looks so cute in it.. and she absolutely loves it.. I bought it at pets unlimited..

Duchess has one!

Duchess has a jacket, but she really doesn't like it that much. Well, she's alright after you put it on, she just hates getting it put on her. Oh, and all my friends REALLY make fun of me.

Wagner had a little coat, and could care less about it, but he got made fun of at the dog park for being a big sissy. Fortunately, for his ego, it's been a very mild winter and he hasn't needed one this season.

Lisa has a couple of sweaters -- and we are looking for patterens to sew her own U of MICHIGAN jacket -- -- they do look so cute -- what boxers doesn't -- :D Here in Michigan we are suppose to have really bad weather however, Winter has been soooo mild -- just a little snow --- Now that Spring is comming I want all the cold to go away --mmmmm maybe a rain jacket in yellow!!!

Ozzy has two sweaters. large knitted kind. Its cold here, he usually only puts them on when we take our night walk. If he doesn't have his sweater on at night we can't see him for the snow They dont bother him and he puts them on and off so easily.

I got Helmut a leather jacket to match his stud collar. The only time he's ever worn it was at Halloween, though, when he was dressed as a biker dog. Very cute. I want to get him a matching Harley Davidson hat from Petsmart....

One thought, though....you said you left the jacket on him when you left. I'm not so sure that's a good idea, because if he tries to take it off, he could choke himself or do other damage when you aren't there. I'm just really careful with things like that after my aunt's chinese crested show dog had to have a paw amputated because the dog got a towel that was left in her crate twisted around her food. I guess the towel cut off the circulation and the dog started to freak and got herself into more trouble. She was in a crate at the time and my aunt wasn't at home. :( I'm sure nothing would happen with the jacket, but I don't even allow my puppy to wear a collar when she's in the crate cuz I'm afraid that she may get it caught somehow and choke herself.

I made a jacket for Sergeant a couple of years ago, he likes it when the weather is cold and windy. It has a fleece lining and a waterproof material on the top, I put a velcro overlapping piece at his chest and a strap with a clip underneath, just behind his front legs, I also put a couple of curtain weights into each back corners to keep the jacket from flying up when it is windy.

I got a muscle shirt and baseball cap for summer. And a home made sweater for winter with velcro strapping
