Dog Beds.

I saw that other thread about dog beds as well! We got ours at Wal Mart $25 with the lambs wool on top. I think the general opinion was if your dog is a digger to get the cheaper one's $20-$30, so that when you have to replace them once a year, its not a $100+ expense. I have also heard good things about the memory foam beds at wal mart as well, they were about $45-$55. We still ended up with the cheaper of the two and they love it.

I made mine, I got some cute doggie bone fleece really thick and stuffed it with a ton of pillow stuffing from Wal-mart. I has time to kill at x-mas before we could bring Dozer home! Both of the boys lounge on it together and we move it around as needed. I'll probably have to make Diesel his own soon though. They have never chewed or messed it up in any way and it's easy to wash just smoosh it in the washer and dry it in the dryer. I think it cost me like $12 total

If you have a Fleet Farm or Farm & Fleet (they're called different things in different areas) they also have inexpensive beds. My previous dog had seizures and he'd wet the bed so badly I had to constantly buy new ones. So, I became a frequent Farm & Fleet bed shopper. They had the big pillow kind for $20 also.

My dog has beds all over the house and he goes to them without a command. But, he also goes on all the chairs and couches!

This is so funny to me! We bought two different beds from Tractor Supply and the dogs tore both the pillow parts right off in no time at all! Foam everywhere in the living room! If mine don't sleep in our bed, they just don't sleep very well! Spoiled little babies they are!

I, too, have several of the $20 ones from Wal-mart. My only problem is if Luka has an accident on one. Yeah, the cover is washable, but the entire filling is saturated as well.....can't really wash that. Any suggestions besides spending another $20 when this happens? Not that its all the time, but he's done it twice now. :(

I got Koa & Tua's beds from Pet Smart but Koa has already torn his up! :mad: I then put a blanket on the floor for him & he just tore that up this morning, it looked like my blanket had thrown up! :eek: He is not liking this new transition much.... So good luck with your baby!
