Dog Beds.

Our bed is getting toooo small. I am going to try and get 4 dog beds for our house. I am going to put 2 in the living room and try and train that they go lay in thier beds when we eat instead of just on one part of the carpet. I also want to trin to say "go lay down" or something to that effect and have a bed that they go to. I am also going to put 2 beds in our room. The pups get tired of being pushed around in bed and will go in the closet or wherever and get out our blankets. They then make a nice bed for themsleves and sleep. So i thought I could save some wear and tear on my blankets by getting a bed.

Sooooo.....where can I find some cheap beds that are good? Our 2 like to nest and push thier bedding with thier front feet for about 20 min until they get it just right.....so I need something strong too. Any suggestions?

Ebay! I just got Rocky a really big, pillow type bed from there. It was cheap and high quality. He loves it! Even with shipping, it was still cheaper than if I had bought one of that size at a store.

I agree with the Sam's Club. We have gotten Rufus 2 from there and they were $20 and held up great.

Tula(rockne did too) loves the bolster type beds. Basically a bed with thick cushioned rails they rest thier head on. We have a rectangle with 3 bolster sides and a round one we call "the bucket" with a bolster all the way around.

Somewhere here on BW there is a post about a memory foam bed at walmart that is pretty cheap. We got one for Judah and now he prefers his bed to ours (which has led to better sleep and happier days for all). We also saw a similar bed at BJ's wholesale for a little less. It looks really thin compared to a lot of other beds, but because it is the denser memory foam it is more durable and comfortable. In fact these beds are so nice my wife says she would take a nap on it if it were a little bigger.

I got mine there too, cant beat 20bucks for a huge pillow bed. They love it.

I get the one's from Costco. I think they are about $20 and they are cedar lined and smell so good.

The last time I picked one up I did it at lunch and when I got in my car to go home from work it smelled soooooooo good. It helps to keep it from getting that nice doggie smell so quick.

Max has torn up two beds. The ones with the wool looking outside. All over the house. So, off to Sam's and got him the upholstered one. Keep your fingers crossed. It is still in one piece. Sometimes at night when we are watching TV I look up to see Max is gone. He is usually on DH or my lap. I will look for him and he will be in his crate sleeping.
