Does your Boxer talk to you?

Pharaoh usually yawns, stretches, and does the bauuuuuuwwwwhhhh, thingy. Then, if I put my "park going" clothes on, he starts hopping around while talking to me. Also, when I get home from work, he goes into a ritual of snot blowing, kidney beaning, rubbing against me, licking me, and talking.

Tess talks back to me when I scold her. She gets this funny look on her face and "talks" to me. That's the only time she does it and the kids think it's hysterical that she back-talks too!!

Rocky does the same whoooooooing sound if I talk to him. He scrunches up that smooshy face and looks so cute. He is also such a whiner. Oh my Gosh, when I come home from work, he follows me around the house so close I better not stop real quick or he'll be right up my butt. When he sees me putting on my sneaks to go to the park he starts whining and pacing as if to say " hurry up, come on, i've been waiting all day, let's go Mom!!!

Jake isn't really a talker, but his body language speaks volumes! It's easy to tell when we come home that he's happy to see us, or when he's bored, or when he's excited to go for a walk, or eat, whatever. His body language is very expressive, although he isn't vocal.

Maggie is a big talker too. She tells me she's ready to eat, go out and it even seems like she's telling me to stay home when she sees me ironing my cloths for the day. She stands on the bed while my back is towards her and she just goes at it. Pretty funny. Hoss is not vocal at all, but does dance when I come in. Maggie also dances and she smiles too when I come in from work.

[Kazz's Boxers]

Bandit gargled at me last night and i was dying of laughter, he was on his back and i swear he was playing dead. WHen i started laughing, he got up and looked at me like i was nuts

Then he started his whooooing.

I started laughing even more.
If someone is one the floor, he starts howling and whoooooing at them till the play with him.

Gus does the whooooooing too. Usually when I am at the best part of a movie or something. He knows that I'll pay attention to him, then I have to look in the TV guide to see when the movie comes on again. *sigh* I love it though. It is like he is saying "mom, pleeeeeeease play with me or I'll just die!"

Holly is very vocal, too. If she wants to get our attention she does a gentle low growly noise, it's really sweet! Also, if we drive near one of her regular walking places, she does litlle high pitched 'puppy barks', even though she's three and a half!
