couldn't sleep without my baby!!
Sammie has slept with me every night since I got her (except when I visit my dad...his retirement place doesn't allow animals). When I visit him, I can hardly sleep without her!:(
....and I have a great way to get (or recapture) a spot on the bed. When she stands up & turns around in circles (around once an hour), I use that time to quickly scoot over...so I'm not hanging off the edge of the bed.
As far as the snoring.....it always reminds me of my friend's mother. I asked her once, after a slumber party, how she could sleep thru her husband's snoring. She told me that when he fell asleep & started snoring, she knew "all was well with the world". And that's true. If there were someone outside my home or something wrong....Sam wouldn't be asleep! So, when I hear her snoring, I know it's safe to relax & fall asleep.
When she's not feeling well, she tends to sleep on the living room couch..... I can't sleep at all. If I can't get her to come in & snuggle, then I have to join her on the couch.
Nor does she try & get me up too early. We both get up to go potty & then go back to bed. If she does think it's time to play, I just do a quick, little "growl". I discovered this trick accidentally (actually, I was groaning about having to get up). But, I guess she took it as an order from the pack leader to sleep a little longer! Anyway, it worked.
I can't imagine sleeping any other way.......especially since I usually use her for a pillow! Those of you that haven't taken advantage of a snuggley boxer, don't know what you're missing!
