:D We have three boxers and they all sleep on my side of the bed. Talk about interesting when I wake up for work in the morning. I slowly drop a foot off the edge of the bed and feel for a solid piece of floor and tenderfoot every step until I make it out of the room:D And forget about sleeping in on the weekends, we'll get up and let them out to potty and try to get to go back to bed but once they're up, there is no peace for us(accept a piece of cold nose on the back):D

Yes. My boxer, Odin, sleeps in bed with me and my husband. He's very loving and loves to cuddle with us. He prefers being between us, but often winds up behind my legs or with his chin draped over my husband's ankles. How he finds that comfortable I have no idea. He does fake me out in the morning. He comes to me when we're still sleeping because he knows I'll get up to let him out in the yard early in the morning. When he's done he bangs on the door. Once I let him in, I have to beat him to the bed upstairs because he winds up in my spot with his head on my pillow. It's hillarious. We didn't intend for him to sleep with us, but when he was a puppy he had a bone disease and we wanted him close to us to watch over him. Since then he took over the bed. I believe he actually thinks it's his!!

Ok, I admit it, before my boyfriend moved in, I always had my three in bed...bad habit I started, but I love having them with me...they have to be touching somehow and they're so sweet when they sleep. Now, when i foster, if I have the dog for awhile and he/she gets along with mine, then somehow I end up with 4 in bed..now it's getting real crowed, even with a kingsize bed! But, now that my boyfriend has moved in, Rusty is the only one in bed with us (he's a big whiner otherwise) and the rest sleep on the other king bed in the other bedroom...but I miss them so much, that I go and sleep with them halfway through the night...I know, i'm sick...but I can't help it, I just love them tooooo much!!!!!

When we first got Ali it was "no way is the dog sleeping in the bedroom"!

After about a month not only was Ali in our bedroom, but she was mainly sleeping on the bed with us. She starts out on her bed, then around 2am or so gets up with us.

Then when we got Eric we decided 1 was definately enough on the bed! So poor Eric isn't allowed up unless invited. When I'm in bed sleeping in Ali is with me & I always ask Eric up too. I love snuggling with my babies.

I just recently got a new bed for myself, so my dog gets the old one (with a blanket over it, so that I can actually let guests use it at some point). Once my boy sees me going to bed, I tell him to go to bed, and he turns around, goes in his bedroom, jumps up on the bed, and settles down. It's actually quite funny!
