I have slept in the same bed with a Boxer Bed Buddy for over 20 years - guess I wouldn't know how to go to sleep without one draped over my legs or arms, pushing against me with all four legs or tucked up close beside me!
What a loved and secure feeling!
(and then they pass gas and I think "oh, gees" ;)

I will admit, I am the only vote for "non of the above"

BUT, Leena and Mason have their own room and are fine with just curling up together in their oversized crate in their room.;)

Stinky...

Grr...Dasia will soon be sleeping in her crate if she doesn't cuddle up to me!

She cuddles up to my boyfriend and I get the butt in my face! Sooo much fun smelling her little "pffffffsss".

I would like to have her little face in my face so that i can give kisses :) but NOOOO I get the butt end! Crate she goes until she figures out how to sleep with ME and NOT my boyfriend!

Avra has her bed by the side or our bed ,but she used to sleep there at times.
She slept with us ,but these 3 past months she likes sleeping on the sofa in the living room and she comes on our bed and wakes me up every morning at 7 o'clock by licking my face:D

NO WAY !!!! nonoicon nonoicon nonoicon It took a turtle, 8 hermit crabs, goldfish, 2 birds, a poodle named Toby, and dozens of cartoon nightlights T-E-N Y-E-A-R-S to get our S-K-I-N K-I-D queenicon out! Mr Stinky has his "bachelor pad "at the end of the hall....

When we brought Jingo home I tried the "no bed/no furniture" rule...it lasted all of 5 minutes due to my husband's soft heart!!!

We have a queen sized bed and the two of them manage to take up at least 1/3 of it. Frequently Jingo will try to lay between us, failing that she'll lay on top of both of us until she slips down between us. Successfully, pinning down the covers from both of us!

Luckily Milo is happy at the foot of the bed!

BTW -- A friend of mine has the same problem with their Lab. She suggested king size top sheet & blankets to avoid the draft. Sounds like that would work pretty good. Has anyone else tried this? We haven't yet...

Baxter sleeps in the bed with us and the girls usually sleep on their beds in our room until the wee hours of the morning when they too crawl in with us. We keep all of them in our bedroom and close the door at night. If there ever were a fire, we'd all be together so we wouldn't have to risk not being able to find one of them or get to them!

I had to vote no, it would mean I would have to let my rottie up too. Ozzy is still in his crate at night and Ryker who used to sleep in his bed at the foot of our bed has decided to sleep next to Ozzy's crate, so we put his bed in there by Ozzy's crate, so they have their own room, Ryker has a mattress on the floor where Oz joins him during the day all the time except at night.

Its was both dogs or no dogs in the bedroom. Our rottie, licks and farts and changes position soo much I couldn't sleep and now Ozzy snors soooo much too. This way we are both happy!

I had to vote "none of the above" as well, and for similar reasons to P's Poppa! We still have three skin-kids who like to sneak into our bed in the middle of the night and cozy up; add a Boxer and an over-sized Lab to the mix and no one would get any sleep, even in a California King! However, Riley does come up and paw/whine/lick me awake in the morning. A very nice way to start the day! :p

Brody sleeps in bed with us. We wouldn't have it any other way. I don't think I could sleep without hearing the sound of his breathing near my face, or smelling that "warm boxer smell". I love that smell! Our Boston Terrier also sleeps with us. They are just a couple of cuddly teddy bears.
