Buster has just recently made a little friend here in Hong Kong a mongrel called Amber. Amber is great climber and has tricked Buster into climbing and now he loves it....( They are climbing on concrete walls, with a lot of bumps and holes in...) He seems pretty unstable sometimes but he manages to keep all paws in the right spot.... Mummy standing underneath ready to catch, as I would be able to....=)/ Vicky

kneesaa will jump as high as she can attach herself to the 7 foot fence in her pen and them climb the rest of the way like a monkey. the fence was half the height and she jumped it with ease so we doubled it. so to prove to us that that wasn't going to stop her she's showed us her climbing skills. :rolleyes:
I think she just wants to make sure mommies out in the cold with her when she needs to do her business.

Thankfully Coco hasn't tried this outside on the fence but indoors, yeah she climbs. All over us, the furniture, whatever she can. I came in the living room the other day and she had gotten up on the back of the couch and then proceeded to get IN the window sill and was just standing in the window looking outside behind the curtains. Crazy girl!

I watched Daisy, at 8 months of age, leap at the 5 foot fence in her pen and propel herself over the top...

A Cat, doing what cats do, was sitting cooly on the other side of the fence "teasing" Daisy. The cat disappeared into the woods, and I was able to retieve Daisy within a couple of minutes, but the whole incident seemed very scarey at time. However, I can look back on it and laugh, imagining what the Kitty-Cat must of been thinking when she saw 50+ lbs of boxer coming over the top of the fence!!!

Brutus thinks he's a cat

I think Brutus climbs things because he sees our cats doing it and so he thinks he can too. Right away at eight weeks, he was climbing onto the back of the sofa and jumping off. Scared me to death!! He still climbs up onto the back and lies there like he's a little kitty and he climbs all over me and DH. I don't think he realizes that he's not such a little puppy anymore.
