Does your boxer like having his ears rubbed?

Oh man, Tomi LOOOOVED having his ears rubbed. Loved it sooo much. He also loved having me scratch them on the inside gently. He would fall asleep with the eyes rolling in the back of his head. He was uncropped though, does that make a difference?

Sandy will sit for hours if you will rub her ears.
Napoleon loves to have his rubbed if you are not trying to clean them.

I guess my 2 are out of the norm! Xena absolutely hates having her ears touched and never has liked it since she was a pup! She has very extra- sensitive ears and will cry out sometimes if someone touches them! Spirit is not crazy about it either. He will often move his body a certain way to redirect the hand away from his ears. They are both natural ear babies. However, they both share the same "soft-spot" just above their little nubs! It's so funny that they both seem to become paralyzed in the hind end when getting a nub-rub! :p

Coco LOVES it! When I start rubbing she will relax and literally fall right over in my lap. Almost like it puts her in a trance, it's funny.

Both female and male are Cropped Eared. My female will instantly turn her head into your hand for you to keep rubbing the ears. She will then do the eye rolls and fall right to sleep if you keep it up. She likes to get them cleaned also. My male does not like his ears cleaned but loves a good ear rub. He kind of shuts his ears when you try to clean them. Its funny like a vice closing on your finger. My skinkids have played with my females ears since they were cropped at 12wks old, she is now 2 1/2yrs. Male is a rescue 3yrs old so don't know about him. We do know they never clipped his nails where he was before rescue. He hates those clippers. We do the grinder.

Evie is cropped and LOVES the base of her ears to be rubbed. Adam isnt cropped and loves his whole hed to be rubbed! LOL :D

Sasha(uncropped) loves it and so do i!! Her ears feel like velvet!
Telmar(cropped) does not care for it at all!

I was just wondering, since I've heard that some cropped dogs don't like having their ears rubbed?

Rubbage!! Although some dogs just don't like their ears rubbed, period. I rubbed a friend's other breed's ears and the dog was not thrilled with me. LOL---silly me. Since all my Boxers have always loved having their ears stroked, I thought it was rather universal.

I can put Booker T to sleep by stroking his ears
