Loki's Mom

Boxer Booster
Loki hates the blow dryer - that is enemy #1, then a close second would be the lawn mower - he bites at the wheels every chance he gets and his white paws are all green by the time we finish mowing the lawn! And his third thing is the vacuum .

Loki doesn't hate the computer, but he vies for attention when I am on here - if he thinks I have been on here too long he starts putting his nose up under my hand and knocking my hand off the keyboard! And if I were a betting woman - I'd bet I'm not the only one who has a boxer laying on their feet this minute who does the same thing!

my boy just hates it when i watch football (especially when i watch the bears play). every time i yell at the t.v. he looks at me with the most pitifull face and then begins to tremmble uncontrollably. no matter how many times it try to pet him and tell him that i am not yelling at him, he still won't stop shaking. sometimes he feels that it just best to leave the room. what a wimp.

(p.s. he also hates it when a play playstation and get a little too upset with the game.)

Here's A Different One...

Last week we had voting here in Mentor, Ohio. I took "charlie" out to go potty (on a leash) and all of a sudden he started this deep growl, in a boxer stance, starring at our neighbors front lawn where there was a "vote for Klemming" sign. I couldn't believe that he was so protective of me seeing that sign. I had to walk him over to it and let him sniff (while he was growling and soft barking at it) so that he would not attack it the next time.
Usually "charlie" hates the vaccum cleaner - it's not easy vaccuming the carpet with him trying to bite the front of it. But a voting sign ? You've got to love this breed. Always keeps me laughing and loving him more and more each day. We've had him since he was six weeks old and now at 8 months I still get a thrill owning my own boxer and not envying all the other boxer owners.
I thank all of you on Boxerworld for letting me see that I "wanted" a boxer of my own. How empty our lives would be with our "charlie"...
