Well, I answered this question once before, and I'm answering it again because my answer has changed. The older my KOBi gets, the better he listens and he comes when I call him now. Sometimes with a little hesitation especially if he's in the middle of a good wrestle with an apple that fell off one of the trees, but he does listen to me!! My baby is 6 months old today and I am so proud of him!!!!lovicon

Lady is pretty good about coming to me. She'll even come if she knows I'm going to clean her ears- but if she's in trouble (we've been potty traing for tha last while) she runs and hides under the couch. And she will not come to my husband. No way no how. I have to coax her over there. But she's still a puppy!

"charlie" comes all the time when we're training in the driveway. If a noise happens or he hears children he ignores me. Then it's back to work. If we're in the backyard he comes only when he thinks he wants to. so much for training...

Blade is very strong willed

I think at 5 months he is going through the teenager stage. I know his hearing is very acute however when he wants to go to the restroom and disappears from my sight while I'm upstairs folding clothes or something.

I'll call him back and it's as if he is totaly deaf! When I then go to see what he is up to.... he bounces up and down at the back door like tigger.


I guess its a good thing cause he was telling me "MOM Gotta GO!"

It depends if Nika comes when I call her.
When she's alone with me, she comes most of the times. When she sees another dog or person before I do, she doesn't come if I call her, she wants to meet the other one first.:rolleyes:
If Danco is with her, she comes whenever Danco does!
