LOL - actually one of the major benefits to owners in feeding raw is usually a significant decrease in the amount of gas... I find that chicken skin/fat is often a problem though. If I feed too much of that, it causes tummy upsets and gas. Possibly that could be the case also for your boy, or I guess he could just be in the process of adjusting. If you think that could be the cause, you might like to remove as much of the skin as can be done easily (no need to go silly on it though).
As for the poop, yes, hard is normal. You should also notice that, if you don't pick it up, it will crumble into dust within a couple of days. If it is too hard though, then either feeding a greater amount of meat, offal or veges will soften it up again. It is the bone that makes it hard, so if you decrease the percentage of bone in his meals, his poop will soften accordingly.
