Does she look Purebread.......

Ok, because of my recent issue and now concerns with breeders honestly etc posted here:

And because Lexi has always had such a "different" look. Not bad..........Super cute, but just different than all other boxers I've seen it makes me ponder just a tad in my head if she's not purebread ?! :( :(

Please be honest and if you don't think she is, maybe what is she ? I have a pic of her mom and she's very different looking too.

I think she's probably pure bred She's not the epitome of the boxer standard, but there are none of the usual 'giveaways' that she might be a mix. I see no other breed staring out of that face.

I am by no means as educated as Gmacleod. But just from looking at the pics she looks like a boxer to me, I have seen so many that have a different "look", but my first thought was she looks all boxer to me. She's adorable by the way!

I see only Boxer when I look at the pictures. Although, the mom has a slightly longer nose and doesn't appear to have the typical underbite, so she is just probably not bred-well. I know, once you get it in your head, you start seeing exagerated features. My friend has lab-mix, and once someone said he looked like he had a little pitbull in there, she now thinks he looks like it. (He doesn't at all!) Lexi is super cute!! lovicon

I am not sure what you think looks unboxer like about her, but, Lexi looks supremely boxer to me. I am not as educated in boxer terms as gmacleod, however, I am extremely bluntly honest. I think that she looks beautiful!!! If you look at the pics of my boys(2.2 and 15 weeks) they have long faces as puppies(I don't have pics on here, I just can't get it). However the face changes as they get older. The underbites will change with age as well. For instance Apollo's used to not really be so much and now, whew, it's hard to miss if you look at his teeth. Rocky's is becoming more pronounced as well. Since I've stated that I am blunt, then let me say this. Stop driving yourself crazy over that ACA thing. She is beautiful and even if she has something WAY back in her bloodline, she isn't alone. Either our dogs or we ourselves have something different in us. I apologize if I have offended you in any way.

Thanks everyone for your responses. We get a ton of comments on how cute she is. Everybody asks me though what breed she is and then thinks our Boy Duke is part Pit Bull which he looks 110% Boxer......... ?!! LOL

I think she is mixed.....with another boxer! Looks completely purebred to me.
