My dh says I'm obsessed with all things boxer.... He went out of town tonight and called to ask what I was doing. I told him I rented a movie - what movie - he asks. I didn't think anything about it - Must Love Dogs is the movie. He was like - Oh my gosh - you ARE obsessed with all things dog. I didn't even make the connection..... I can't really argue with him though. He's gone out of town but AJ is the one keeping me company!!!

I dont have a spouse but all my family and coworkers think I"m boxer obsessed. And it doesn't even have to be about my boxer, it's anything boxer related. If I see a boxer shirt, or a boxer at a house, all my stories are somehow boxer-related. My coworkers joke (but know deep down it's the truth) that Titan gets treated better than their own kids did at times. And they're so right too, he's my spoiled baby that gets anything and everything his mommy sees that I think he deserves, which is just about every new toy I can find!

Yes, my hubby tells me all the time I'm crazy when it comes to my boy. Out of all the dogs I've had I have never been so attached to them as I am Koa.
I treat him like a baby & he is spoiled rotten, don't let me find out that my hubby or kids have given him a treat that I don't think is good enough for him because I will go off! Only the best for my baby boy, so don't let being "obsessed" be a bad thing. Just think of it as being a very good mommy!

My DH says that I am a pushover when it comes to Joe, which I am. He loves him just as much as I do though. I catch him looking at Joe and smiling and then he will say, "I love that dog so much"! It really is sweet. We just got married in October and don't have any children yet, well besides Joe and our kitty, Mona.

DH is just as bad as I am. He and Bently will lay down on the couch and I get to sit on the floor, while he just grins and snuggles the boy, and he is the one always searching out new toys and making sure the treats are ok for him. Gotta love the guy!

oh yes!

My hubby said it in jest and meant no harm but it is/was so true. Blizzy was (and will always be) the light in my life. When I would let her out to do her business, I always gave her a kiss and told her I loved her. My hubby would say she's JUST going pee..she'll be back in 13 second. I always said, you never know, something bad could happen. When I left the house for whatever reason, Blizzy was the first (and sometimes only one) to get a kiss, hug and a I love you..hubby would stand there with lips pursed for his..play pouting..heehee. When I "tucked" her in at night with her pillow & blanket he'd say WHAT other dog gets such treatment (guess he's never visited BW..hehe). And on the sad day we had to send her to the Bridge, as I sat staring out the window, waiting to head to the vets, with tears and boogs running down my face, sobbing, he said (only to lighten up the situation..not meanly) "I bet you won't be this devistated when I go" I looked him dead in the eye, with a smirk and a little laugh and said "don't you know it". Yes, I was totally devoted to my girl. Hubby was never jealous but it was the butt of most of the jokes about how crazy I am..

Absolutely! Jim is not even a big animal lover so he can't even imagine why I am so passionate about my love of Rocky and Boxers in general. I had a Cairn Terrier who passed away this past June and Jim was not crazy about him, but since Rocky has come into our family I can see him starting to soften up. I mean who can resist those body twists, the woohoo's and the priceless expressions.
I'm sure I drive my co-workers crazy to but hey life is to short to worry about what others think. I feel like I have a new leaf on life since I adopted Rocky! Yep he is that important to me.

My girlfriend understands why I love animals but she's baffled why i love my duke. I take him to horse shows, work, the barn....... The kids love him and beg to take him on walks around at the shows but he never leaves my side. A minute or two later he'll be dragging them back to me. We're attached at the hip. He grumbles if we're laying in bed together and my girfriend wants in too. I'm definitly obsessed. I could go on about my boy for days.
