OBSESSED with their boxer baby? Mine told me the other day that I am obsessed with Keeya because I bring her home new toys almost every time I go to the store and I lay on the floor to play with her. I kiss her all over and I just can't get enough cuddling time with her. It HURT MY FEELINGS!!! Maybe I am obsessed with her but I don't care. I have never felt this attached to a pet before. Anyone else have someone tell them they're too attached to their furbaby?

ALL THE TIME!!!! My children tell me I spoil the boxers so much!!! They said they are treated better than they were. I told them it was because they mind and listen to me better than the kids did. LOL!!! They all love the furbabies. But they like to give me a hard time.

Oh yes, definately!! My husband used to resent Harley because of how spoiled he was! Then my husband became an over the road truck driver. Then he started to like Harley, because Harley is a good guard dog. Then I think he started to miss Harley too.

Now hes a local driver and home every night, and he loves Harley as much as me! But he doesn't show it. He is just as excited about getting our new pup on Saturday as I am!

Aww but how can you not love them? They are perfect and innocent, and never do any wrong! And if they do, its only minor.

My boyfriend doesn't say it, he's just as obsessed. But ALL my friends and some family members do. :( Hurts my feelings too, but I just remind myself that we are different. I would rather be around animals that humans most of the time. THye don't understand that, their loss. :(

My DW says that about me and Kilbane. She says that he's more mine, in time I'm sure it will change, than her's. Kilbane loves us both dearly, you can just see it in his eyes. I also get BLASTED for being on BW. I don't see the big deal, the computer is near the TV which she likes to watch (I don't care for it to much) and our boy is always near us. If I'm not here, I'm on the floor playing.

I think my husband thinks it but wouldn't dare say it. Sometimes, I see it on his face, but he keeps his thoughts to himself. I think he loves Deeg but he isn't crazy over him like I am.

Yep! I've had family tell me that I do more for my dogs (ya..like I do THEIR laundry, cook THEIR meals, entertain THEM and clean up after THEM? Oh, hehe, wait...I do. :o ). Ahem....anyway, when I'm questioned about the time I spend with them as opposed to the time I spend with family (mainly extended), or friends, I just simply say "I prefer their species". :D
I guess some will never understand that kind of companionship and love, and that's just sad.

Yes...I'm also a obsessed. I kiss Ditee when my hubby leaves the room. He rolls his eyes when he "catches" me loving on her. If he was as excited to see me as she is every day, I'd be obsessed with him too. I can walk out the door, turn around and walk right back in, and she greets me like she hasn't seen me in weeks. That's love.
