I also hear it all the time from friends and especially family. They think I'm dog crazy, I have two BT's and Ellie and they're spoiled rotten and that's the way it's going to stay. I think the people that are saying this to us need to find something in their life that they are just as passionate about!

We have the same deal at our house - I get razzed about being on BW so much - and lovin on my baby...BUT I think I am slowly converting him because just the other day we were driving, and he yelled out, "Look over there, it's a BOXER!!!!!!!!!!!" I was so happy to see the boxer, and almost happier that HE noticed first!!! ha ha :D

I hear it everyday from BF and friends. BF thinks I'm nuts because we go to the dog park probably 5 or 6 days a week (he just went for the first time and had a blast), and I buy her tons of toys and treats and take her everywhere with me. Our friends all think Im nuts because I sent out Halloween cards with her picture in it and I made a "baby" book! They all say Im nuts and need kids! I say no kids yet - give me another puppy!

Yeah people are always tellin me that "they are just dogs". Boy are they wrong....thats the understatement of the year!! I treat em just like I would if I had kids...to me they are my babies and thats how they r treated!!

My husband tells me, family & friends that he wants to come back has a dog in his next life because of the way I spoil & love on my furbabies.
I also get bugged about being on BW.

My DH says that he wants to be reincarnated as a dog in our house! Its so funny.. when i was feeding the furrybutts the one day, DH says to me "you give our DOGS egg and yogurt and peanut butter.. what are you going to feed our kids?? Caviar??"

All the time, my parents think im nuts because i got a baby monitor for luna because her crate is downstairs and my bedroom is upstairs. i would just feel horrible if sometime happened to her!!! And i got her a coat and always get her toys. everyone says she is so spoiled, but i don't care...she is my baby. i never thought i would be like this with a dog!!!

Everyone things i am nuts because I am nuts about Elvis.

He takes over my life, I always put him first even before my partner! He always says if me and elvis were hanging off a cliff who would you save first, and I always say, well you have arms and can save yourself !!!!

But everytime I go out shopping he always gets a gift! he is my baby thats what I always say.

dh and kids tel me all the time the animals are better loved than they are :( . Just this week I yelled at dh for making one of the dogs get off the bed and I blamed dd for breaking a plate off the table that the dog actually knocked off.. Oh well.. I love my furbabies!!

Not really. DH is just as obsessed. Both of our families love Roxy and Grady and understand our love for them. But, DH has said I am on BW too much. He just doesn't understand how great it is. We all share the same love for our dogs and understand each other even though we have never met. I think it is kinda neat. Anyway, I am sure some people that don't understand our love for them and the breed think we are nuts, for example, sending out over 120+ cards to people you don't even know... I have gotten strange looks when I talk about that. Oh well!!!! I can't wait to get over 100 cards with boxers all over them!!!!!
