Does anyone else's boxer eat soap??

Emma licks it too on the rare occassion she gets into the bathroom. Luckily, she's already not allowed in there because she eats kitty poop too!! So yeah, the bathroom is home to two of her favs. soap and crap.....

Toni is a soap eater too. She'd get it out of the shower and have a snack. Her breath would smell pretty good, but it was really irritating to go take a shower and not have soap to wash my face with. Like Reno I bought a soap holder with two suction cups and that has worked so far. She has not pulled it off the shower wall yet. Actually I had not thought of her doing that. When I get home tonight I will raise it up, hopefully out of her reach.

no problems with niko yet, except he likes to lick my legs right after i get out of the shower. like hes trying to dry me off before i use the towel. after i dry off hes after my darn toes

I had to laugh when I saw this title! Higgins loves to eat our soap (Imperial Leather). I am not entirely sure why - I actually think he loves the texture of it all. I wrote to the company the first time he did it to ask them if I should be overly worried if he manages to eat a bar and they said that while they don't recommend it, they can't imagine it would do any real harm. Other than a little indigestion, I don't notice anything either.

My boys haven't eaten soap YET, but when I was a kid a stray pekinese followed my brother home from school one day ran in our bathroom and ate a bar of soap. We never did find the owners and ended up keeping her. We named her Munchkin and she is my fondest memory growing up. The little soap eating furball.

I don't have issues with soap, My boys both steer clear of the bathroom. Everytime I open the door they run for the hills, they are petrified of bathtime! If i'm in the tub though, I always hear all this sniffing and snorting under the door and Diesel will come in and lick the shower door.

This thread is silly though, I keep picturing all of your babies, like in those old cartoons with the hiccups and soap bubbles are coming out of their mouths!

Aiden has a major soap eating problem. He would just swallow the bar whole before I even had time to react. I would make sure the bathroom door was always closed, but everytime I turned my back I would hear his little paws clanking around in the bathtub. The little bugger learned how to open the door. I got a soap holder that hangs from the shower head. It is just high enough so he can't reach it. Now I just find him sitting in the tub woo-wooing at the bar of soap that is just out of his reach

OMG Stella is ALWAYS stealing soap out of the shower. I have to remind the skin kids to keep the bathroom door shut or I will be spending a fortune replacing her "snacks" .

I don't think it matters what the brand is. Drake loves to lick the bar. I've changed to soft soap and body wash, so it's not an issue anymore. He did however one time get a lick of the body wash and threw it up:( So of course, he leaves it alone now.

Our boy Major dearly LOVED Ivory soap. Would eat the whole bar if you weren't careful. He did get a few and thank god he never got sick! Strange hey .. you wouldn't think they would bother with soap.
