Do you walk your dog?

Actully Ali walks me so we are still working on that...he just keeps pulling but other than that he does great. Doesn't even bother the other dogs we see. We talk a walk every evening so that it's cooler for him.

We (myself or my 14yr old son) walk our male Caspian every night at least 1/2 mile or so. If it is rainy we usually take a ride to Petsmart and walk around there for an hour and practice being polite to people and other pups. It's really funny how they can tell time. Anywhere from 7:45 to 8pm Caspian will start looking at us and going to the door and then looking out the window and doing some woo woos. He doesn't bark hardly ever he just talks to us like Chewbaka from Star Wars. As soon as one of us gets up and gets a plastic bag for his deposit on the walk he starts beaning by the door.

So nice to have a dog I'm not one for exercising but since I got Samson hes kept me in good shape. I will rarely pass up the chance to go walking with him and watch all the people we pass by smile at him and swoon over how beautiful he is- a nice little self-esteem booster for him and me! Hes such a good walker though, sometimes when he stays at my parents house with me, my dad will always grab him out of my room at 5AM and take him with him for his daily 2 mile walk. Its such a treat for them both!

Roxi goes for like 4 or 5 walks a day. My BF walk her when he gets home from work at 3 p.m. and then we take her for a walk together when I get hom at 6 p.m. and then I usually take her for a nice long walk when it is cool out after the BF goes to bed.

The majority of Sirus' excersize comes from tearing around the house and the yard, and at my parents house and and in their yard. During the Summer in Vegas...which it is now...Sirus doesn't get to go on walks...even in the evening...because the temp. likes to stay right around 95-98 even after the sun goes down, so our walks would last 5 min.
In the fall, winter, and spring though...Sirus loves his walks.
