I can't even believe I'm saying this ... but yes, I do sing to Cornelius. It's a little song I made up to encourage him to "go" outside and when he does - in a sing-song, baby voice, it goes: YEAH, CORNELIUS GO POOPIE OUTSIDE!!!! (over and over again until he comes back inside for a cookie). He loves it too. I'm embarrased to say that the gas meter reader heard me singing it and just walked away laughing out loud. Bet he told all the guys about the with the boxer pup!

LOL I sing to pepik too. Once when I dared to sing a frase to Pepik in front of somebody we know the reaction was. "What was THAT?" with a you-are really-nuts-look in the face. I don't care much about that incident though I don't have the habit of singing to him "in public". I'm glad too I'm not alone. LOL I'm sure our boxers feel that't we sing out of love for them.
I had such a BLUUE day today but this thread really makes me laugh.

I sing for both Lilly and Diesel. Diesel's, I am sorry to admit, is titled Diesel the Weasel, but man does it fit the little stinker. Lilly, gets all kind of girly love song as well as a rendition of the made up "Lillibelle"

I like to sing to Brutus. I put on music and sing to him, it seems to calm him down some times. I like playing "Atomic Dog" for him and dance that seems to get him going sometimes. Sometimes when i'm dancing he'll jump up and attach himself to my leg while i dance. That's my boy we can be goofy together.

Here is the morning ritual...
I get up and the pups burrow under the covers. After my shower, I sit in front of the mirror to dry my hair and both of them come scampering in. Wilma is always first cause she is the princess. She jumps up on her hind legs and puts her front pays around my neck. I then sing to her..."You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." as I scratch her hiney. Then when we are done it is Emmett's turn. He jumps up and I sing "I love you, you love me, we're a happy family..."(yes...the dumb Barney song). He also gets a hiney scatch. My family thinks I am insane...OH WELL!!!!!!!!!

I love this site! Because it's nice to know that I'm not the only one that does this weird stuff. ( according to my family ) I sing to Koa all the time & he loves it he will wiggle or snort & run in a circle. He really goes :: when I sing opera!

The last time I sang to Beau, he got so freaked out that he peed in my bed. I guess I sing as bad as I thought I did Since then, I just stick to talking to him in a "baby talk" voice. His butt starts wiggling so fast. Bailey just barks at me when I sing. I think he's trying to tell me to shut up

Elvis gets excited when i sing to him, he starts kidney beanign all over!

I sing the nursery rhyme Elvi Belvi pudding and pie kissed the girls and made them cry....

But if there are good songs on MTV Elvis is always up for a dance!

Oh so funny! Yes, we do here too....In fact, sometimes I will catch my husband (6'2, 220lbs all man) taking a bath and singing to them while they lick the water off of him. His songs are one of a kind!
