Do you sing to your Boxer?

O.K. I'm going to admit something really stupid now, I am always singing to Millie,...not normal songs, but silly made up stuff, always sung in a daft baby singsongy type voice....'She a silly Millie Boxer, all pretty and brown, mummy loves her all the time'...she loves it and it's gaurenteed to send her into a frenzy of kidneybeaning, snot and slobber!!...I also used to sing to Poppy, to the tune of 'search for the hero' by M people...You got to search for the Boxer inside your house, search for the Boxer in there, search for the Boxer inside your house, before she gonna wee everywhere!!...It also used to send her into nutty Boxer overdrive...my son and husband are always telling me to shut up, when I sing to Millie when I get in from work, in case the nieghbours hear, and send for the men in white coats! (I am already known as the mad Boxer woman locally)...so come on do you do it too or should I really be fearing for my sanity??

we do it here too, your not alone im sure alot of people here do it also. as a matter of fact my husbands fave song to sing to chloe is the mickey mouse song but with these words:

whose the prettest girl in the world, chloe is her name c-h-l-o-e, chloe is her name.

she loves when we sing to her.

So glad to know that I am not the only one who does this. I make up a different song for Killian about every day, I won't even tell you the lyrics, but some of the songs are to the tunes of things like Winnie the Pooh, You are my Sunshine, and this really funny song that my son listens to on his Lego website. I am such a dork....

OMG, unfortunately for Gracie I do sing to her (although if you heard my "singing voice" you might disagree that it what I am actually doing! LOL)--usually silly made up songs or twisted variations of real songs! I sing "Who's That Lady" changed to "Who's that Gracie" with different lyrics every day, and a ton of silly made up stuff--last night I sang one about her "Football Headed Rope Toy"....I need help....

I do the same, I sing the big boxer butt one and when I sing Barry M's Lola I don't have to change the words .
My mum also sings to her an old song 'Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets' and on our walks when people of a certain age ask her name they sing that same bit of the song?
I also sing lullabys when she's sleeping and I'm giving her some love

I sing to Samson all the time and he loves the attention... not so sure that he thinks I sing good though.
