Daisy's allowed on the furniture... and we even have that in mind when we arrange our living room furniture ( making sure she has a comfortable view of the neighbourhood from the living room window as she lays on the sofa! ).

The comfy chair I placed in my bedroom for my own use is now Daisy's personal loung area where no else is allowed to sit. L.O.L.

You're supposed to ignore her? Geez, how would that guy like to be ignored when he's excited to see someone? Sounds kinda mean to me.

But yes, Austin is allowed on every piece of furniture in this house! Sometimes he even lets me sleep in my bed with him!

When I got Boomer the rules were as followed:
1. No boxer in the bedroom (that was broken the first night)
2. No boxer on the bed (now he snuggles with me until I fall asleep and then he hops to his bed on the floor)
3. No boxer on the couch (that is gone and forgotten!!!)

Boomer is very well behaved and has excellent patience so he will wait until he is invited to lay with me on the couch. Or to sit with my mom and watch TV. My dad I thought would be the hard sell but nope, Boomer lays in his lap all the time

Cisco was a crate sleeper from day one, at about 8 months old he was fully potty trained and trustworthy to be loose for the night. I tried to switch him to sleeping with me, but he won't. Not sure why but he just curls up on the floor at the foot of my bed now.
Cisco has always been allowed to sleep on the furniture.

Hugo sits whereever he wants. My living room furniture is arranged always with the love seat in the corner so he can look out the window. My Mother always points out that I am covered in dog hair from the waist down. It rarely bothers me...nothing a roll of packing tape won't fix!

Logan is going to be allowed on the furniture, the couch isn't new anymore. But he can't get there by himself yet. He will not be allowed to sleep with us on the bed though. My cats don't even get to do that. I fully expect him to be begging by the side of the bed though Renee

It's been well over a year and we are still going strong.

And before anyone calls me mean, I went out and bought him the fanciest / most comfortable bed on the planet. It's actually alot nicer than my bed or sofa....

Although I do have an old futon in the basement where Sebastian naps or watches baseball while I workout.

Our Sasha usually sleeps where ever she wants. Only rule is not in the bed (except when it is storming....then nothing keeps her out from under the covers). She has great manners in that she will always ask first. We each have our favorite spots, but they are all her favorite spots. And if she gets there first, don't even bother asking her to move.

Yes, Beau is allowed on all the furniture. He has no manners at all and does not care that I am completely squished when he sits in my lap. I know I should teach him to wait until invited, but I'm a sucker for those big brown eyes!
