If you don't know what bloodlines your boxer has, can you tell from certain traits what kind of boxer she is, English or American?
All I know is that she was born in Kentucky, so I guess she is a Hillbilly Boxer! he he, no offense Kentuckians! :D

I have a natural ear puppy bitch right now who's daddy is an English import of top lines and mom is of hot american lines. Best of both worlds!:D She's a real handful, too; drives her half sister nuts.

Well, I'm in Wisconsin. Not that Emma runs through the cheese fields or anything, but I'm in America. I do actually remember the breeder talking about that. I guess it never really sunk in that there was a difference.:p

It's something I never really thought about. I guess I always went with Julie M.'s premise: a boxer is a boxer is a boxer. A friend of mine was up at a dog park in Vail this weekend and was talking to a guy with a boxer. This guy said his was an American Boxer. My friend said the dog was bigger and taller than she expected, the head was "blockier", and the tail wasn't cropped. I told her I didn't believe there was any such breed as an American Boxer...maybe I'm wrong?

No, you're right, there is no such breed as an American Boxer. There is such a breed as an Unscrupulous Breeder who will use gimmicks to get a higher price for their puppies, though! :(

This is a question that has come up for me many times my boy Tiberious is short, stocky, and broad in the head. Many people have said I have never seen a boxer with such a prominent head. So I have been told he is a german boxer I don't know and I have not really been able to find any definitive info including the resources I seen in other posts here so I just saw he is a boxer or he is Tiberious like no one else is.
