Do u have conversations with your baby?

I am glad everyone else does this too. I talk to Ginger all day. We talk about anything under the sun. I think they are excellent listeners too. I also feel the understand every word too. My hubby is the opposite - does not have conversations with Ginger. He thinks I am wasting my time and she doesn't understand a word I say.:rolleyes: I totally disagree with him, he just doesn't get it. :o I find it funny when I say something to Ginger and my hubby answers. I said "hun, I was talking to Ginger".:p

Me and Boxxy have conversations all the time, I take him for a walk, we have a nice long talk, from time to time he'll even answer with some woo woos, it's great, I tell him what's bothering me and if nothing else it helps me get things off my chest, he's a real good listener, you know, now that I give it some thought, I talk to him a lot, maybe I'm crazy, naa, I'll have to talk to Boxxy about this later:D

I mostly put a voice to what I think she is thinking and that's what makes me laugh the most.

Well, I didn't want to admit to all that, I mean, I talk to them, but I'm not crazy...no, nope - nah ah, not me!!!!!!!....but now that you did....thats what I do as well. Full on conversations with my dogs!

Oh dog, that is what we need. A boxer neighborhood filled with BW members. There would be a constant hum of conversation from each house/yard, and upon closer inspection it would be one person and one or more boxers at each, .

I always do the running commentary of our dogs' actions for my fiance... :rolleyes:

Pretty much whenever Buster does anything, it's like he's got "comic strip bubbles" over his head and I'm just reading the words, since apparently I'm the only one that can see them...

Buster will put his paws on Har's lap and I'll help out his cause by saying "Daaaaaaaadddd...I wanna come up...pleeeeeeease..." or when he's chewing on a treat "nummy yummy gotta finish this before Maggie steals it yummy nummy".

And when my fiance isn't around (or even when he is...) I'm more than capable of carrying on both sides of the conversation...

Buster: "Look what Maggie did to my blue hippo, Mom! All the guts came out! Look - there's guts everywhere! This is so cool! Hey! Why did you put my hippo on the table - now I can't reach it!"
Me: "Your hippo needs surgery. I'll schedule an appointment with the sewing machine and you can have him back after he recuperates and gets some of the slobber washed off. Play with this instead."
Buster (running off with other toy): "Maggie Maggie Maggie I got a new toy I got a new toy bet you can't catch me..."

i talk to my dogs all the time.. and I also tell them more than what I would to any one else... LOL.. You know for sure they aint judging you and you know they aint gonna tell anyone else

I have conversations with them all the time. And when Daddy is also home, we even have voices for them :p So, we have conversations with them and they even respond.

Yes, we are totally nuts. But I don't think we're the only ones.

i talk to mine all the time, tell em about my day, asked them what they did (even though they were crated the entire time) tell them what we're gonna do tommorrow. i could (and do) talk to them for hours on end

call me crazy if u want, kaiser and a never do :D
