When i come home and its just me and my shelbs i am constantly asking her how her day was and almost pretending she answers back! haha am i nuts!! and when daddy comes up the street i go SHELBY!! DADDYS HERE!! and i get her so excited that she ends up being a pouncing woooo woooo'er hehehe!
i am just curiouse if you indeed have human conversations with your baby? and if so in wat context? i treat shelby like a baby - play with her hair , her soft jawls, her ears (flip em back and call her slick) hehehe

For example, the other night Madison and Gunnar were giving this little whine while Tim was getting his dinner. He looked at them, like a father does, and said something along these lines, "Now you two know better. You just ate and now it's daddy's turn to eat. When I'm finished we can go outside and play but not until then. Now go and behave." I'll admit that I've had even lengthier conversations with Madison about this or that (i.e., how pretty she looks, how un-ladylike she was while we had visitors, how much I love her, what a good girl she is, how proud we are of her, etc., etc.) and she just looks at me in agreement so I'll shut it. It's the look that says, "Sure mom, whatever you say. Can I go now?"
