Do they all eat on the carpet?

All of ours has always ate on the carpet

I know they do not learn this ---Can it be a trait?

None of our other dogs ever did----

And they are very picky too
I buy kibbles and chunks
Jax will not eat thetan colored ones---even the tan colored doggy bone treats

Beethoven would not eat the Dark colored ones

Wrangler eats everything in site---hahahahaha

Yes mine do that too..... They sort out the meat from the Eukanuba eat all the meat, spit the eukanuba onto the floor then eat little bits of it leaving the rest for me to pick up. If I give them veggies you can guarantee that the sprouts will be left in the dish all alone. (perhaps thats a good thing considering how windy they are :D :cool: )

That is so funny, I was wondering that too about Anikan. I give him treats and he rushes to the carpet to eat it. The good thing is that he doesn't take his actual dinner to the carpet. Or else I would have wet food smeared all over the place. But he sure loves to eat and play on the carpet. If we are playing in the kitchen he backs up and makes his way to the living for playing. They are so adorable.

Have you ever tasted the stuff?

They may relate the carpet is grass and besides it's more comfotable than a hard floor and as far as leaving some of those food items in the bowl while eating the other stuff. Have you ever tasted the stuff? It's terriable.:D

Brutus brings EVERYTHING to the carpet!! Scraps, dog food(one pc at a time) and his ice cubes. Chewy's however he like to put in your lap as if to say," Look Mommie!" and usually they are in the slimy faze....Ick!!

I've noticed that Mickey is doing the 1 pc at a time food on the diningroom carpet, and he just WON'T eat his milkbone in the diningroom, must jump the babygate and eat that in the OFF LIMITS carpet in the livingroom!!!!

And when I tell him to sit or down, he goes to the carpet instead of the linoleum of the kitchen floor! Is he just afraid of being cold or sliding???? What a clown!clowicon
