Do people laugh at your babies name?(vent)

Thanks for all of ya'lls replies! I happen to be one who likes unique or unusual names....albeit Hercules isn't unusual (ex-bf named him) but it fits! I knew ya'll would understand my feelings and we know what their names mean...and it fits their personalities. I guess most pet owners don't seem to be as sensitive about their animals as the clan here at BW is! BTW....I love all your babies names....even the simple ones!

I know how you feel. People laugh when they hear us call Peanut all the time. It might be because he is 70 lbs already and not yet a year old


That is probably one of the cutest names I have heard for a Boxer! Good job on the naming!
Also...I love Boxer (sport) names for Boxers (dogs)! Lennox, Layla, Ali...all of 'em! They're great! Hercules is a wonderful name to! Don't ever let anyone make you feel upset about them thinking your dogs name is "weird"...the more weird the better in my opinion! You know your dogs personality and that he/she is totally different from anyother dog...and obviously that name fits! Sorry for the blerb...just think that some people are so heartless!

 

[Super Boo]

Skye is a pretty easy name, but we always get "His name is Blue?" (no, 'she' is named Boo), Blue?? (no, Boo, like a ghost).

Boo is a really big female Boxer (25 1/2" and 75lbs) so they always think she's a 'he' and for some reason, the name Boo REALLY throws them.
