I too think boxers are the cutest breed. I have a schnauzer and (don't tell Charlie I said this) but I still think that boxers are the cutest. I have always thought that even before I had Frankie. That face is just so irresistable!

Zoey's Mom

Great Question

Whenever we take Zoey anywhere we are constantly stopped so that people can pet her. Sometimes it feels like we can't walk ten feet without having to stop. When we take her to the ocean, it seems like everyone just goes crazy over how cute she is. I have even had quite a few people tell me that they considered getting a boxer but they weren't sure if they wanted such an aggressive breed. Of course I tell them they most certainly aren't an aggressive breed and after spending just a few minutes with her they always end up saying--I am going to get one, what a sweetheart.
Zoey absolutely loves going to the vet. She is always made such a fuss there with the vet, the techs and other customers.
My husband use to raise Rotts and we still argue about which dog breed is more beautiful. But I know down deep inside he knows that I am right. He just won't admit it.

When I take my Jade to the vets office I swear she gets treated better than any other dog there. Every visit consists of everyone that works there coming to pet her and telling her how beautiful she is, so of course no matter what they do to her there she still loves going because she knows that she's treated like a queen. When I take my golden in of course she gets greeted nicely too but not nearly as much as Jade, I just think it's funny, I don't know if it's her breed or just her in general (I would have to say it's her in general but who knows) but she's definately loved at the vet.

I have a friend tell me that she's ugly, but I just tell him he's ugly too. I think he just does it to make me mad but because I know that she's gorgeous it doesn't bother me at all, all boxers are gorgeous!

Gruntsmom

People say that Grunt is cute is when we got to the vets or someplace where everyone knows him - I think it's his puppyness, the beaning and nub wiggling, his exuberance and that people laugh when they are around him. When we are out on walks or where people we meet don't know him, they say that he is beautiful or handsome. He tends to be more alert looking, restrained and almost regal in his bearing around strangers. That turns some people off - sometimes they move to the other side of the street or turn and walk in the opposite direction. The strangers who "dare" to come closer to talk or ask to pet him, and pass his inspection, end up saying, "what a cutie!!"

Everyone LOVES Tyson. I always hear "Awww.... what cutie!" or "What a doll!" or "What a face!" I think a lot of it is his personality. He's always happy and loves people and other dogs.

People always tell me how cute Layla is...Of course I agree wholeheartedly! I've been told she should make a calendar (which she has, but just for her daddy's office!) And I even had one lady pass us in a car, then slow down and take a picture of Layla. (she was the passenger) All the while grinning and waving at us!(probably another boxer owner stalker!) She gets an extra bag of treats made especially for her when we take her to the pet store. And basically gets tons of attention where ever she goes. No wonder she thinks she's the queen, all this attention must be going to her head...

I always get "He's so Handsome" for my male who is 80lbs flashy fawn cropped and docked. He's a big boy all muscle. And he looks so serious when he holds his ears up and is in a stance at attention. Some might be afraid of him until they get a couple feet away and he turns into a big wigglin woo wooin mush face.

I always get "She's Beautiful" for my female who is 50lbs plain mahogany fawn cropped and docked. She has such a silky coat and she comes from great breeding lines so she has a great head and such an expressive face.

She has even won my mother in law over (who does not like dogs at all). She not sends xmas presents for them and always comments on how soft she is and that they are such good looking dogs. Of course I think given enough time they could win anyone over with those faces and personalities.

Yeah, we get lots of comments about Ping. It's given him a big ego! LOL. People mostly comment on his pretty color and his demeanor, they say he is such a good dog, and that he is beautiful. It all goes to his head. LOL.

Not Cute

I've never gotten a "cute" comment about Boo ...Its always "beautiful"or "gorgeous" ...or very "impressive"
maybe a "handsome" or "outstadning" thrown in there some where ...never cute...even when he was a puppy.

People are always telling me that my youngest boxer, Roxy, is cute. She's flashy brindle with floppy ears and always has this goofy girl look on her face. And of course, I agree, she is really, really cute.

Now it's different with my oldest boxer, Ginger. She's brindle with cropped ears, and tends to always look very serious (even though she's not). I think the very defined stripes and the pointy ears intimidate some people, so I never hear that she's cute, but do get pretty or beautiful often.

I feel sorry for Ginger some times because everyone wants to love on Roxy and all Ginger wants to do is play. I think that has something to do with it too, Roxy is very laid back and Ginger's always hyper-spastic!!
