Chicken necks are my comfort zone. Lexi does well with wings too but I prefer the necks. Backs *I* cannot do, I'm more paranoid than most. I also do not like turkey necks, we just started on those. Lexi has choked twice on these, so when we run out, we won't buy them anymore ;)

chicken bones?

I have never given chicken bones to my dogs, I had heard that chicken bones splinter so I have never done this.....
Are you guys sure it's ok?

The bones are great for dogs, but only raw. Never give them a cooked bone. There is a ton of great info in this forum about feeding raw. Reading post by Julie and Aimee made me decide to feed my girls this way. So far they're doing pretty good with it and they love it.

I was worried about the wings and backs as well at first, but my problem was that Atlas was not putting on any weight.

My breeder suggested that I graduate to wings and backs as necks were maybe not enough.

We gave our 2 chicken wings for the first time last night.
Ali chewed hers, still only took about 15 seconds to get through each one.
Eric freaked us out, just picked them up & swallowed them hole.
But as alot of you have also experienced this, I guess there is nothing to worry about.
