To my son's great relief, Scrapper did not change one bit after being neutered. And that does sound like playing with the shoe thing; Scrapper used to love to bite the end of our socks and try to pull them off our feet, stretching them out as far as he could get away with. It got so all our white socks had bite holes in the toes after a while. :D

Now that he is approaching three years old, he has settled in a bit, but still a bundle of energy. My daughter, the bio major, says he must have a lot of "fast twitch" muscles!

Well Bella (female) has slowed down with age - she is now 9 months and a lot more relaxed than her younger months!

I have to agree with everyone. Fixing them does not slow them down. Age does, well it brings a calmer furbaby.

I always wish I could just bottle 1/4 of their energy and use it for myself . Mailani wouldn't miss it. She is just a speed demon!

I would love to bottle up some of her energy, so I can keep up with my skin kids (1 and 3 yr old boys). :D

Brando was 1 on January 2nd and we have noticed a change in him over the last three months.

He seems to have calmed down a lot and the best part is we don't have to put him in his crate anymore.

We can leave him in his room now when we go out and he either sleeps in his bed or just plays with his nylabone and kong.

He still gets up to mischief though - that's the best part! When I'm doing the laundry he'll pinch a sock and sometimes one of my bras or a pair of knickers - which can prove very embarrassing when you have visitors!

Lol, yeah Bella is always stealing my underwear! She is particulary fond of socks and Jons boxer shorts! maybe she thinks they are hers!!

SLow down?? Hah! Neither neutering, spaying or a litter of pups slows down a wild one! I have a mellow boy, but that is because he has always been mellow. My girl over the Rainbow bridge moved a mile a minute until the day before she died. Chloe seems to be similar..she's always into something.
