"Fixing" our boy and girl didn't change them one iota either. But I agree with the others about training. The baby nipping, nibbling thing usually won't go away on its own, they are very mouthy doggies. I learned about this from this boxer world group before I even got my babies. They are also very smart, didn't take long for either one to realize play ended if teeth touched my skin.
Now when play, and the mouth and face are involved in any way, it cracks me up cause they are so concious of the no teeth thing, when they hold their mouth open to play, their lips all sag in and sorta fold over the teeth and they look like little old wrinkled toothless men, so funny.
About the energy, yep, high energy dogs! Lots of great ideas on this board to keep them occupied, and excersized. That is one of the reasons I chose boxers, I loved the idea of perpetual puppies! But I knew it was a trade off of time and energy on my part. I learned if I trained them correctly it helps. But still is like having a perpetual toddler around....fun fun fun (wink)!
