Depends. Some do, some don't and some sometimes. It's a luck of the draw.

Studies say that if the lips curl inward toward the teeth, he may have a less drooling issue. If they curl outward, where the "combs" hang out, then the drool has an easy escape. Of course never know the shape of the lips til full maturity.

I don't know about all Boxers but my two are droolers. It usually happens after a good run in the backyard, or some serious rough housing inside. Aniah will have globs of Cody's all over her back and Cody's neck and ears will be drenched from her. But for the most part there is none, we don't have a constant supply, just when very excited or right after vigorous activity.

Yup. Caney has droopy jowls that curl out at the bottom (here's a close-up). She drools a LOT right after she drinks (I guess that's not really drooling... more like leaking :p) and after she eats I have to wipe her face (or she'll wipe it on YOU) but she doesn't just walk around with drool hanging out of her mouth all the time. Creek's jowls don't hang nearly as much, and they definitely don't curl out, so she is generally less messy than Caney. :)

Joey drools majorly when you have some good smelling food that he has to have a bite of! I mean it litleraly bubbles it can be so bad. He also drools when he sleeps. Unfortunatly he thinks our pillows are his too and sometimes when I move his head off of one there will be a drool spot, gross but kinda cute.

One note about drooling. Roxy doesn't usually drool, only when she has a especially favorite treat in front of her. She does drool when she is in pain or has an upset tummy. If your dog doesn't usually drool and begins to do so frequently, I would have him/her checked out. I just got back today from the vet having more pollups removed from Roxy's gums, AGAIN. They grow up around the teeth and become painful and interfere with eating. She started drooling excessively and I knew they had grown back. Oh well, what's another $200 dollars.
