Do any of you have your dogs outside for any amount of time?

Jada goes out to do her business and she's right back in with me. Glued to my side or under a blanket.

Grumpy is inside except for potty breaks and when I take her out to play. . . she'd prefer a little more outdoors time but when she's out by herself all she wants to do is dig holes in my lawn!

My dogs - especially Miss Siren - love to be outside. They have their run of the outside and the house pretty much. In the winter it's restricted because the back door isn't open, but in the spring/summer/fall the back door is open wide enuf for Siren's wiggle butt to come in and out of. That girl loves to be outside!!!

Sadie loves to sit in the sun during Phoenix summers. She'll go out and sit in the 115 degree heat for an hour and then come back lay on the tile.

We have a dog door in the screen porch door, so during nice weather the slider is always open and she can come and go when she pleases. Otherwise, if the door is closed she stays in most of the time. Sometimes she enjoys basking in the sun if it's not a hot day (like now), or digging under the truck for a cool dirt pit. However, summer here is just too hot for her to be out much, so she prefers the A/C.

Rosco is inside when we are home. When we are out, he is outside. He has a fenced play area that is covered so he doesn't get wet if it rains. He also has a heated dog house, so he doesn't get cold. He has lots of toys and everyday his cousin Moe (brother's shih tzu) comes over to play. During the work week (4 days/week), I do come home during my lunch hour so he can come inside for a little while.

Drake is outside only when we are out with him. He is totally supervised. I would never think of leaving him alone outside. It breaks my heart to hear of people leaving their Boxers outside. I actually put a jacket on him when we are out over 5 minutes.

Theyre ar no kennels or chains here If were in the back ( fenced) then there with us, potty, running around with us, thats it, right back in the house. You know, just the way it should be

what i have read so far that they don't like to be outside. but our boxer loves it.. he doesn't even want to stay in the house... that could be because we have another dog in the back yard too.... Little Girl who doesn't even like to put her foot in the door

We have a doggy door and fenced yard so Lazer goes in/out as he pleases. Amazing how much he likes the snow now, and we've got a BUNCH in the past month. Comes running back in full speed and heads for the nearest blanket to burrow in and warm up....
