Do any of you have your dogs outside for any amount of time?

ABBY made her own doggy door in my back screen door so she can go out whenever she wants to. If it's too hot or too cold, I her try to keep her indoors as much as possible by closing the wooden door.

Samson is definetly an inside dog. The only times he wants out is if we are outside or if he needs to go potty.

Tre made one when he was a puppy as well. But, it's fixed now.

I can honestly say, Tre is never unattended when he is outside. There is always someone with him.

mine are both. my hubby works days and i work 4 nites a week. at first we had them inside but one day when my hubby came home Dusty greeted him with the blinds around her neck. we have kennels that they stay in in case we are not home. they each have a 6x30ft run. but they sleep in the house at nite. i inside kennel trained Daisy but i felt bad if she was in it more than 3 hours cause even a extra large cage isn't big enough for a boxer to me. They have more room to run outside. hope that helps

She goes out for bathroom breaks and if we're out she's out but that's about it. Sometimes when it's warm I'll put the baby gate up on the deck and she'll lay out there in the sun for awhile. Usually about 15 - 20 mins is all though and she wants to be right back with us.

Heidi loves to lay outside in the sun. Sometimes when I let her out she will just lay down to soak up the rays. I don't have the heart to hurry her back inside so she'll stay outside until she's ready to come in. The yard is fenced in and I can always see her clearly. That's about the only time she likes it outside..too hot, too cold, rain, snow..forget she don't even want to take a potty break out there!
