Do any of you have your dogs outside for any amount of time?

Just wondering personally i keep mine indoors at all times other then to go out quick to the bathroom, but just wonder if any of you keep yours on a chain or a kennel.

Mine stay indoors most of the time. In the spring and fall when the weather is either not to hot or too cold Foreman will stay out for a while, if we are out so are they, but Harley will only stay out if one of us is out there too. No kennel for my guys they are spoiled inside dogs air conditioning in the summer for sure!!!!

Lucy is indoors most of the time. When its nice out she will stay outside for quite a while just sitting underneath the trees in the shade and watching the neighborhood activity if there is any. I always let her in when she asks to come in.

A boxer would die on a chain. I couldnt imagine doing it.

Mine wont stay outside unless youre out there with them.

Mine only go out to use the toilet! Unless they choose to play or sit outside, the back door is more or less always open.
Rocco doesn't like to be away from us for to long he likes the comfort of his mums knee far too much

Mine are always inside, other then potty breaks. If its nice out They will play for a while but always come looking for one of us. Harlie likes to sit on the patio chair and soak up the sun.

Sadie is inside except for potty breaks. When the weather is "just" right she will go out and play for about 30 minutes or so but then right back inside on the couch. No kennel for her either our spoiled rotten queen!

It snowed here recently and I couldn't keep him inside - all he wanted was to go out and play in the snow Today, he's been out for about 45 minutes and shows no iterest of coming back inside. I never-ever leave him out when I leave the house though.

We have only had Billy with us since the end of August but he loves being outside, he will spend hours out in the garden sniffing, snoozing, watching the kids on the trampoline & trampling down the flowers. He only comes in to see if he has food in his bowl or when it starts to get dark.

My boxers are generally full time indoor dogs. My home has a 75x40 fenced run and the boys have access through a laundry room doggie door. In nicer weather (dry and warmer than 50) they have 24 hour access to that. When it's too hot, they will go out and use the toilet or find a shady tree to lay under, but generally come inside. Spring and Fall you can always find them outside, either lounging or playing. In winter they hate the cold but Max is still young so he'll find any excuse to go play in fresh snow. Even given the choice, the spoiled boys prefer the soft inside furniture to the outdoors.
