I've been ignored a lot lately. I've been down in FL because my mother-in-law said she wanted to move to TN and I came down to get her house ready to go on the market. She is NOT a dog person. I've been staying with my Mom who lives about 10 miles away from the mother-in-law. When I first come home they are happy to see me but then go and lay with "Grandma" or my niece. The funny thing is they have a weiner dog who is always really excited to see me and comes over to lay with me even when my own dogs won't. This of course makes mine jealous and the next thing you know is I have 3 dogs, trying to climb up on the couch with me, or I should say on me.

Super Boxer
When Beau gets upset or jealous, he will go to another person for attention, all the while darting glances back to see if the "offender" is noticing and jealous yet. LOL what a silly boy!

Then finally she came in there an hour or two later and gave me the vulcan death stare.

Roxy does this too! LOL. I have laughed so hard reading this. They have such personalities. The vulcan death stare...LOLOL! Still laughing because it's so true.

And they do it as puppies, too! Suki already has turned her back on me several times, and her death stare is coming into focus. I dread the day she's too big to sit on my lap. She will be one unhappy pup! Gotta love boxers.

When Cai was alive, we knew her mood based on her "tooth." If she was happy or content, her teeth were hidden under those beautiful fleshy lips. If she was mildly peeved about something -- I wasn't sharing the food on my plate with her or not giving her the appropriate amount of attention -- she'd put one of her bottom canines out, usually the right one. If you moved her lip to cover it up, she'd stick it back out! If she was really ticked at you -- usually if we had guest pooches and I was lavishing attention on them or I wouldn't let her on the couch with me -- she'd put out both canine teeth. It was hilarious! "Don't you give me tooth," I'd tell her. Lord, she was a funny dog.

Curious to see what Suki has up her furry sleeve as she gets older. Love smooshies!!appicon

This is hilarious cause it kinda happened to me yesterday.

Funniest part was I never left the house with Argus.

I was horrendously engrossed in a project I am doing so did not get much time to play or pet him. When I was finally done for the day he wouldn't have anything to do with me. He's fine now, but it was funny last night.

SAM AT 70ISH LBS IS STILL MY LAPDOG !!

Cody as well is a total 73 lb lap dog....he just has no concept that he just doesn't fit. He will curl himself in a very tight knot and ignore the fact that his butt is hanging over the edge. Of course when my legs are completely numb and I push him off....I am graced with the Vulcan Death Stare
