Digging at the SAME hold over and over

Tyson continuously goes to dig at the SAME hole at my sisters house. Its gotten as deep as 2-3 feet. I fill it back up....and the next time I bring him over, he goes right back to it. I've scolded him numerous times, even once after i caught him in the act. I dont think it will deter him in the future. Any suggestions?

I don't know if this will work or not, but someone once told me to bury chicken wire (with the large holes) and then when he gets to it he won't like digging on that wire and will give up that hole. Luckily Mya only digs one inch deep holes!

It always works for me , what you do is put a piece of their poop in it and they wont dig in it. The only problem is he will probally go find another hole, so do you want 1 big hole or lots of little holes

Should I cover the poop with dirt or leave it exposed?

cover the poop. but the chicken wire is the best bet. it really works the poop works also but you will find that you are burying poop every where.

Young boxers just love the dig. Sometimes the best solution is give them somewhere they are allowed to dig. Usually a sand pit is the best thing. You can encourage them to dig there by burying some of there toys in it.
