has news of the bank robbery reached you at all? 2 days ago the norther bank in belfast was robbed of 30 million (around 60 m $ i think). its being said its the biggest british robbery ever. it wasnt very nice how they did it tho. they held the families of the 2 managers hostage all night, made the guys go to work the next day as normal and send the staff home at lunch. then they filled a bin lorry up with all that money. appar\ntly they were trying to take euros and us dollars but theve taken northern irish notes instead (different that normal uk notes) and can mostly only be used in NI itself not even england or scotland (duh) also most of them were new notes for atm's which are all numbered. i work in a bank in belfast (bank of scotland tho not northern bank) glad it wasnt anything to do with us. its being said that its an inside job cos of the level of info that they have but i cant comment on that. all id say is that it doesnt matter what security there is in place, if some gunman is in your house with your family and kids you'd do anything. i know i would anyways.
heres a link if your interested..

I heard that on the news. I think it's funny they won't be able to spend the money anywhere but NI!! They will be caught soon, I imagine, especially if the money was numbered.

That sounds like something out of a movie. I wonder if that's where they got the idea from. It should be put on "The World's Dumbest Criminals."

Weeelll, they'll still be able to spend around £7 million of it ($13.5 M). The portion that was in used UK £, Euros and $US. So not a complete waste of an afternoon ;)
