The dog is some kind of pitt bull mix.
It's big and white and has blue eyes with some black on the side.
(it's very freaky looking)
It is so strong, it can pull it's whole body weight over a fence with it's front legs.
Animal control did know it was a neighbor - but they did not have my name or address. So, they most possibly said a neighbor called... BUT there are a number of neighbors around - at least three houses who are at the correct angle to see what happened to the dog.
I was super scared on Friday night - trying to decide what to do. I was scared to be home. I went home and let my dogs out in my back yard, watching from a window. They did not approach me anymore.
Saturday, I picked up husband from the airport and when we got home, we walked our backyard, looking at our garden, in our outbuilding etc.
I was under the impression that if the neighbor was going to be aggressive towards us, he would do it then.
He did nothing.
We were gone all weekend - and actually didn't get home until late Monday night.
Tuesday, we played frisbee in the backyard with Maggie.
The neighbor was on his porch - grilling.
He did nothing.
I THINK that since my very in-shape, large husband is home... and since some time has passed, the neighbor will not aggress upon me.
IF he ever tries it, I will pull out my mad martial arts skills - and husband will do the same. THEN, we will call the police.
