Dempsey went to the beach!

Dempsey had his very first vacation this past week. My boyfriend and I drove him from Massachusetts to the Outer Banks in North Carolina to spend a week with his Grandmama, Papalina, and Aunties!

I have posted pictures in my gallery (pending approval) of his fabulous week. Never have I seen a dog who loves the beach (but not the ocean) so much. This just seals the deal...we picked the perfect dog for us!

It sounds like Dempsey had such a blast! I would love to take Hank to the beach and just let him run and explore! I bet Dempsey didn't want to leave! How did he do on the long drive? Or was it very long? Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see the pics!

It was about 14 hours and he was amazing. He has always been great in the car, he goes with me everywhere...but even we weren't sure how he would do. We actually had to wake him in the middle to go potty. If we let him, he would have slept the ENTIRE ride!
