Thanks again everyone. I haven't been on for a few days, so here are answers to some questions that came up...

My work experience is environmental consulting. If anyone has leads for that in North Carolina, send me a PM and I'll send you my email address!

Fortunately my husband's new job is going well - it seems pretty secure. So at least only one of us has been unemployed at a time. There a couple of downsides to his job - the biggest is that the insurance plans are awful, so I'll have to pay for COBRA insurance so I can have decent maternity coverage. The other issue is that he travels a lot. He actually enjoys that now, but he's not excited about the idea of traveling a lot after the baby is born, so he might be looking for something else. But at least he's getting a decent paycheck and is pretty happy with is job.

Congrats on your pregnancy. How wonderful. I am sure your furbabies will be wonderful with the new addition. My youngest is a toddler and we have a boxer puppy. She is great with him. Everyone has said how great boxers are with children, and all have said they can be real protective of a baby. I hope your job situation works out fine.
