cropped or natural (Revised Poll)

kaiser is a natural, but i would LOVE to have a cropped, but after seeing a few botched jobs, i think i'm going to stick to natural ears, and admire the cropped from afar.

Doyle, I agree, more recently I'm seeing a lot more natural ears on Boxers instead of cropped. My first Boxer was natural and now my second is too. I always wanted to keep them natural, however, my husband wanted the first one's cropped. Found out though that none of the five vet's in our office would not perform the procedure. We ended up keeping them natural, and he was glad he never pushed for getting them cropped.

I know it's illegal in other countries to crop. Our vet also told us that he thought that eventually it would be illegal in America to crop ears.

Here in Greece cropping is allowed (i don't know if it is allowed in other European countries),but i love the natural look

Loke is a floppy girl! My husband really, really wanted a cropped boxer, to be more manly I guess.:p :p But I didn't trust the vet's in Hawaii very much and I wasn't too keen on taking care of them. I knew it would be my chore to keep those ears kept up with all the after care. But I sure wish I had known how to tape her floppy ears to get them to lie just right cause she has the flying ears! :D Oh well. She's a beauty!

All 3 of my boxers had/have natural ears. Poopy (my childhood Boxer0 had docked tail and natural ears. Argos is that way too...and Draco not only had natural ears but also natural tail----

Baxter has natural ears, the breeder does not do the ears anymore. He does dock the tails. I prefer the natural look, if Baxters tail had not been docked, I would not of had it done. We saw a beautiful brindle boxer, tail and ears complete, in town. He was a really sharp looking dog!

Clara has natural ears. I love both looks, but I didn't want to go through the process or ear cropping unless it was necessary.

About natural tails.....ouch! wouldn't that be considered a weapon??! I see the action on Max's little tail....I'd imagine a natural tail would be like living with a whipmaster!
