Countdown begins!

Spent the whole weekend shopping for our new additions, rescues Desmond and Ruby. We are getting them this Saturday! They must have thought we were mad in our pet store, two of everything, one pink, one blue. collars, leads, harnesses, two heart shaped engraved tags, and even two cute bone shaped LED lights for their collars so we can see them in the dark! The only dog bed we could find big enough to accommodate two happens to be a rather fetching shade of pink..Sorry Desmond! Lol..
So excited, but really nervous too, a bit like a new mum to be being told she is expecting twins. I hope everything will be OK, but we are beginning to doubt ourselves, hoping that they like us, that we can sort out the feeding, how they will cope with yet another move, and how we can make sure we still have a house intact when we come home when we first have to leave them!!!!! They are going to be so excited these two, Mum and Son, 5 and 7, previously never been seperated, but haven't seen each other for 2 months, as they've been in seperate foster homes.
I have posted a picture of them in my gallery..They are so pretty, but then as a new Mum, I'm totally biased!.
It's going to be manic at first, we know, but we just want to do everything right. Wish us lots of luck, I think we are going to need it. :D

Id say that they will settle in just fine due to the fact that they have always been together, and ofcourse not forgetting that fact that they are going to be spoiled rotten,

I am so excited for you and for Desmond and Ruby! I wouldn't worry about them not liking you, I am sure the fact they are back together will wash over any apprehensions they will have from another move or being with new people. Congrats! I can't wait to hear more about lovely new duo.
