It's normal for us parents to feel a little nervous during these times, I did!!
Cooper will be just fine...a little tired the first two days, but back to his normal bouncy self in no time. In fact, you'll probably have to keep him settled, at least I did with my two.

I know how you are feeling. Roscoe got neutered about a month ago and I was a wreck. THey kept him overnight and I had to work the next day so it was like 36 hours before I could see him. He lost so much weight in just that amount of time, I was so sad. He was ready and rarin' to go as soon as he got home though. It was really hard to keep him calm, especially with Blayne around. He went into naughty mode for awhile because he wasnt allowed to get the exercise he needed to burn off the energy. A month later, he still isnt completely healed. The internal stitches have caused a reaction and he still has 2 few bumps under his incision, which is caused from him licking it. Make sure to keep Cooper away from the incision, even if it means making him wear an e-collar. He will want to lick it so bad because it will itch as it heals. It will heal so much better and faster if he leaves it alone though.

DH just talked to the vet and Coop is fine, he is picking him up on the way home from work. I can't wait to kiss him!!

I totally feel your pain!! Cassius was also neutered today. I was a wreck. He is sleeping at the moment. He has not had anything to drink or eat (the drinking worries me a bit) but I will keep an eye on him and try to get him to even lick an icecube. Sending vibes your way!!!

Cooper is home now and doesn't even act that tired or anything. He is so silly. I gave him some ice cubes and will make him an egg at 8 per the doctor's orders. I know he will love that!!

Glad to hear Cooper is home and doing well! Don't blame you in the least for worrying about him, even shedding a few tears over the occasion. I was a basket case when Grunt went for his neuter! What a relief when it's all over! Sending out healing vibes for your baby boy who is probably getting very spoiled right now.

So glad Cooper is doing well. It's been a while since we have had a dog fixed, as the last two were adopted after they had gone through it. I do remember though, my anxiety over Loki being neutered. I was a wreck until he recovered! Best wishes to you and Cooper.
