I am glad to hear that the pathology results were not bad...I am praying for Cookie that everything will go well with her kidneys.. Your family has been through so much already with the loss of Daisy, I hope with all my heart for some good. Kisses & healing vibes to Cookie!

Good news!!!

Cookie's visit went well today. The ultrasound showed no abnormalities in her abdomen. Her kidneys look terrific, and no tumors or anything were seen in her bladder. Her bloodwork was also very good, and her urinalysis was nearly normal. The oncologist feels that even if we didn't opt to do radiation, it would be quite a while before her tumor comes back, if at all. We're still planning on doing radiation treatment, so she'll have a CT scan after the first of the year, and then start therapy.

I'm so happy for my girl!! She was so well-behaved, too :D
