[Max & Me]

Max says hi to all his pals and all their moms & dads. Rough week for max as he was stung by a yellow jacket. I've never heard Max yelp before no matter how hard he hit anything but when he got stung he cried out loud and went down fast. he was stung on the inside of his leg around the ankle area. It took about twenty minutes for it to swell. We gave him Benadryl as per the vets instructions. They said to watch for swelling of the face or hives but luckily he never had either. Max is back to himself now and would love to see his friends this weekend if we can work it out.

Poor Max, I'm glad he is back to himself. Knowing Max, I bet he was barking at the yellow jacket to play with him I think he needs to come to CT and run around to make sure he is really OK.

Oh noes! i'm glad to hear max is doing ok now, those bees can be a real pain in the you know what! i agree with ken, i think a nice drive to CT for some running and play time with his pals just to make sure he's ok.

Hoping you and Max make it..I want to meet all those people who;ve been to the CT bash when I missed out...meaning YOU and MAX are the only ones left I think.

Wow, what a great day for all the pups and their moms & dads. I stopped counting boxers at 15 towards the end of the day. It's kind of funny how some owners of other breeds appreciate how their dogs and the boxers play with each other and some people don't get the boxer breed at all. oh well, such is life. It was great seeing all of maxs' old pals, Clio,Bailey,Gillian & Cornelius and especially their moms & dads as well as Maxs' new friend Carson and his mom. We have some pictures we'll try & post tomorrow night. Will let you know when their up. Thanks again for the great connecticut hospitality and Max says it's true, the bees are more friendly in ct.
Brian, best of luck when you take Clio to the vet this week, send her hugs & kisses and post when you can.
