Hi Everyone - Its official - Congenital/Hereditary
I said I would keep u informed.
"Babe" has had all her test results back including her thyroid and every single extensive test is negative. In essence we have a healthy 2-year-old who has a congential/hereditary condition - official via our vet. There is no treatment. We can just hope that the hair loss wont get too extensive.
The condition is known as "seasonal alopecia".
I am going to keep surfing the net and asking folk for help. I dont like to sit down and give in!
I suppose the worst scenario is that I will have to start knitting wooly jumpers for her! Just dont like the thoughts of her lovely looks being marred by bald patches.
Thanks for all your support. If anyone hears of this condition being treated - please let me know.
